What do you do when you don’t approve of your daughter’s boyfriend? While some families hold an impromptu meeting to flesh out the details, Annabelle Rama tells the press.
In a recent interview with PEP.ph, Annabelle was very specific on why she’s riled up about Ruffa’s relationship with French-Arab boyfriend Jordan Mouyal.
“Ginagamit lang niya si Ruffa siyempre,” she said.
Annabelle, who has a reputation for being an overbearing and controlling mom, claims Jordan is a freeloader. She has questioned his ability to support Ruffa and her kids, Lorin and Venice.
“Kain libre, tira libre, lahat libre. Ang ibig kong sabihin, siyempre papakainin ni Ruffa ‘yan. Ano bang trabaho niya? Wala namang trabaho ‘yan,” she said.
“He’s only 28 years old. Kung may trabaho man siya, para lang siguro sa sarili niya ang perang kikitain niya. Hindi para kay Ruffa o sa dalawang anak ni Ruffa,” Annabelle added.
But Ruffa’s side of the story paints Jordan as a secure individual who comes from a good family. Jordan also has a double degree in engineering.
“Sana, kung siya lang talaga inayawan ni Mommy. Pati nga si John Lloyd (Cruz) inayawan. Box-office king na ‘yon, no!” Ruffa told reporters recently.
Annabelle, however, says she has grown old of this love-hate relationship with Ruffa and her men. And even if Ruffa asks for her opinion, her daughter seems to choose the opposite.
“Tinatanong lang niya ako kung okey. Pag sinabi kong hindi okey, lalo naman niyang gusto. Kaya nga lagi kaming nag-aaway ni Ruffa dahil kung ano ang ayaw ko ay iyon naman ang gusto niya,” she said.
If that’s the case, maybe it’s about time Annabelle looks into reverse physchology.
