Yay, a happy ending!
Yesterday, singer Jed Madela posted a plea for help on Facebook. He lost his dog somewhere inside BF Resort Homes in Las Piñas, and if anybody has seen him, to please, please get in touch with the singer.
The dog is a cute little beagle named Basti, and he managed to get out of the house. We followed the story comments closely and learned that Basti was last seen on Aventine Hills.
What worried Jed was that Basti didn’t have a name tag.
After driving around searching for him, they put up flyers with contact deets and we assumed, prayed hard to St. Anthony, patron saint of all things lost.
Why do we assume? Because when he finally updated his Facebook page about finding Basti, he included a hashtag #ThankYouStAnthony.
Apparently, a good samaritan delivered Basti back to Jed’s house.
