Congrats to our very own Allen Dizon who won the Best Actor award at the 3rd Silk Road Film Festival held in Dublin, Ireland last night, March 22, 2015.
For his role in Magkakabaung (The Coffin Maker), Allen won the Best Actor award, beating four other actors, including famous French actor Gerard Depradieu of the movie The Voice of Steppe.
This is Allen’s third international award, after getting the same award at the 9th Harlem International Film Festival in New York and at the Hanoi International Film Festival in Vietnam last year.
The movie Magkakabaung also won best film.
