26-year-old actor Aljur Abrenica happily confirmed the rumors that he is going to be a daddy soon, but he said that he wants to clarify some issues and controversies surrounding his relationship with Encantadia actress Kylie Padilla.
Kylie and Aljur became subjects of controversy after a local website confirmed that Kylie is 3 months pregnant. The pregnancy news was shortly followed by their supposed engagement.

The young couple has decided to share their side of the story in an exclusive interview by Arniel Seranto of Pep.ph.
Aljur emphasized that their engagement happened even before Kylie’s pregnancy became public.
In fact, according to Aljur’s story, he has already proposed three times — to the same girl, Kylie, of course. (And there was only one diamond ring.)
Aljur’s first proposal happened in Disney Sea, Japan in Oct 2016. Kylie didn’t think it was serious but she said yes anyway. Sometime after the Japan trip, they’ve decided to live together to test the waters of marriage life.
The second proposal happened in the Philippines, when they were already living together. Aljur saw a green twistable wire, which turned into a temporary ring. Kylie wore it and even shared it on her Instagram account about a month ago. “Yet still so appealing,” she captioned her post.
The third proposal is what others may consider as the “real thing” — because it involves a real ring. Aljur explained that even if he did not have projects with GMA Network then, he used his savings to buy a diamond ring to make Kylie proud.
In the interview, Aljur also expressed his disappointment with Kylie’s management, who announced their “engagement” even before Kylie and Aljur said anything.
It may be recalled that Vidanes Celebrity Marketing (VCM) first posted about the engagement on Instagram on Tue evening, Jan 24.
Aljur said that Kylie’s management did not text or call him to let him know that they were making the announcement, so it appeared like they only got engaged because of Kylie’s pregnancy.
In spite of this, however, both Aljur and Kylie expressed their excitement about what’s to come their way. Both of the consider the baby as a blessing.
