Alden Richards and Maine ‘Yaya Dub’ Mendoza are celebrating their first anniversary as the phenomenal ‘AlDub’ couple and Twitter has an anniversary gift for them: Their very own emoji — a first for any Southeast Asian show or loveteam.
The new emoji appears when you tweet the hashtag #Aldub1stAnniversary. It shows a red heart inside a pair of hands curved together to form a heart shape — Alden and Maine’s favorite pose.
AlDub broke the world record for the producing the most number of tweets for a single event, producing nearly 41 million tweets for ‘#AlDubEBTamangPanahon’ last October 24, 2015.
For their first anniversary, it looks like AlDub Nation is ready to set another Twitter record. But for now, happy anniversary, AlDub!
