Veteran comedian Ai-Ai delas Alas and her boyfriend of three years Gerald Sibayan got married earlier today in a Catholic ceremony at Christ The King Church in Green Meadows, Quezon City.
Delas Alas herself shared photos of the occasion in a series of photos on Instagram.
“TO GOD BE THE GLORY,” the first photo’s caption reads.
The next photo is of the couple with delas Alas’ co-hosts in GMA Network’s variety show Sunday Pinasaya.
And the last photo as of this article’s posting is of the couple inside the bridal car with the caption: “First couplie namin as husband and wife wohooooo congrats darl kinasal kana” (Our first ‘couplie’ as husband and wife. wohooooo congrats darl, you’re now married).
In attendance were some of the country’s biggest stars including Dingdong Dantes and wife Marian Rivera, Vic Sotto and wife Pauleen Luna, Piolo Pascual, and Alden Richards. Sharon Cuneta, a veteran singer and actress, was delas Alas’ matron of honor.
Delas Alas was married twice before while this is Sibayan’s first marriage. The couple made headlines in 2014, when their relationship was first made public, because of their almost 30-year age difference. At the time, Sibayan was still a college student.
