Yes, Adele, a thousand times yes! We’ll even sell our kidneys to watch your concert if you come to Manila.
Philippine Concerts recently posted a video taken by Michel Keppens during Adele’s concert in Antwerp, Belgium, the last stop in her 15-week concert tour of European cities.
The Grammy Award winner was chatting with the audience, asking them where they’re from. When she makes her way to Keppens’ side, they yelled, “Philippines!” This piqued Adele’s curiosity and asked where they live in the Philippines.
“Manila!” Keppens’ group answered.
Adele then wonders, “Would anyone come to my show if I went to Manila?”
Oh, sweet Adele. You have no idea how we would storm any venue just for you… We’d roll with you in the deep, we’d turn tables, because we’ll never find someone like you.
Adele is a multi-awarded British artist best known for her songs Chasing Pavements, Rolling in the Deep, and her comeback single Hello, which reached over a million views on YouTube within 24 hours of its release.
Watch the video below and pray to the concert gods that Adele does come to Manila.
