Makeup artist Fanny Serrano is still alive, his friend Sharon Cuneta said today, who also called out those who have been spreading the false news.
Cuneta posted one of the false reports on her social media account, and added that she even spoke to Serrano over the phone.
“I called him and the nice nurse put me on speaker so I spoke with him even if he couldn’t answer,” she said.

“Please help us spread the word that he is still with us. He is still alive. And to those who have nothing better to do, this is not the time to be assholes okay? Sorry but you are all evil!” the actress added.

Cuneta said yesterday that Serrano is on life support after suffering a massive stroke last week. Cuneta, who regards Serrano as one of her oldest friends, asked her followers in a video message to pray for the ill makeup artist.
“He’s being treated, he’s conscious, but please can I just ask you to pray for him,” the actress said.
The daughter of the late Pasay City Mayor Pablo Cuneta, Sharon started her career with the release of the hit song Mr. DJ in 1978. This was followed a few years later by the blockbuster success of the movie Dear Heart, in which she starred with her former loveteam partner and ex-husband Gabby Concepcion, the father of her first child KC Concepcion.
Since then, she has starred in memorable movies such as Pangako Sa ‘Yo (“My Promise to You”), Madrasta (“Stepmom”), Caregiver, and Crying Ladies. Her success as a singer and an actress has led the local press to give her the nickname “Megastar” — or “Mega” for short.
