Hey, she’s looking good!
Actress Aiko Melendez, who revealed that she used to weigh 195 pounds, says that after almost a year of following a calorie-controlled diet and going to the gym, she has lost 47 pounds.
She is now 148 pounds.
Aiko told PEP that she made the commitment to get fit when she turned 40 last year. “Kasi when you’re 40, your metabolism slows down, e.” she quipped. (“Because when you’re 40, your matabolism slows down.”)
Aiko said that she still has to lose around 15 pounds more to attain her target weight.
She has continued going to the gym and following a 1,500-calories-a-day diet. Once in a while, though, she treats herself to dessert.
