While we don’t know the reason for actor John Lloyd Cruz’ leave of absence from his shows on ABS-CBN, many are wondering if any of it has to do with his suspected relationship with model and actress Ellen Adarna.

If you’ve been following the two on Instagram, you’d know that Cruz is on vacation in Morocco and he’s there with Adarna.

Neither of the two stars have spoken directly to the media about their alleged relationship, but for weeks, starting with the drunk videos of Cruz in Cebu, the unofficial pair have been teasing their legions of followers on Instagram with their photos together coupled with cheesy captions.

On September 25, both Cruz and Adarna posted sweet messages to each other on Instagram and later deleted them, leaving their followers guessing if the romance between the two was over.

But only a few days later, they were on each other’s Instagram feeds again.

Cruz had typically projected a wholesome “boy next door” image off-screen, while Adarna is known for — and not ashamed of — being among Manila and Cebu’s most famous party girls. This probably why netizens, and hardcore fans of Cruz were not shy about objecting to the relationship between the two.

Adarna’s previous rumored relationship with President Rodrigo Duterte’s son Sebastian aka “Baste” was also all over her Instagram last year.

So the question remains: Are Adarna and Cruz officially a couple? Looks like we’re just going to have to watch this Instagram saga continue to find out.
