Actor Baron Geisler was arrested again on Monday after he went to his brother-in-law’s house in Angeles City, Pampanga and threatened to kill him with a knife. Local reporters were told of the arrest in a text message from Pampanga police yesterday.

According to Rappler, Geisler went to Morales’ home at around 3:30pm that day and kicked the gate while spewing death threats. He will be charged with illegal possession of deadly weapons, grave threats, and alarms and scandals.

This incident happened two days after Geisler said in a now-deleted Instagram photo of his bruised face on Saturday that Morales beat him up allegedly over money.

“What to do? Break in and bugbug (beat up) by family. Wow. Still forgive them. It’s just about money since mom isn’t here anymore,” he wrote in the caption.

Geisler’s mother died of cancer January last year.

His brother in law admitted that he did beat him up on Saturday but isn’t sorry about it, and that it’s not about money. “He deserved it, and he is trying to twist the story,” Morales said.

According to a report in ABS-CBN News, Morales confirmed he went to Geisler after the actor called his daughter on the phone and said some hurtful words. “Of course, as a father, I didn’t like what I heard,” he said.

“I went to the house because of how angry I was over everything he said, he challenged me. So what I did, he asked for it and he got it. That simple,” Morales said in a mix of Tagalog and English.

This isn’t the first time the actor has gotten into controversy.

In October last year, Geisler was arrested for fighting in a Quezon City bar. In 2016, he was called out by fellow actor and co-star Ping Medina for peeing on him during a scene while his hands were tied.

Geisler began his acting career as a child on the kids’ program Ang TV. He’s a published poet and visual artist and has won several acting awards for his TV and movie performances.

Geisler is currently being held in the custody of Angeles City police.
