This just in: Charo Santos Concio, head of ABS-CBN Broadcasting, has been named Woman of the Year in the Asia-Pacific region by the new Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards.
Broadcasting company ABS-CBN also won the Gold Stevie for the Service Company of the Year in the Philippines category, besting more than 500 organizations in 22 nations in the Asia-Pacific region.
Meanwhile, Globe Telecom won Customer Service Leader of the Year gold across the entire region.
All organizations in the 22 nations of the Asia-Pacific region were eligible to submit entries. Nominations of more than 500 organizations were considered for the awards this year.
