ABS-CBN responds to talents who complained about Director Cathy Garcia-Molina’s extreme behavior on set

ABS-CBN thought the matter had been resolved all along.

On Dec 30, Rossellyn Domingo wrote an open letter on Facebook about how director Cathy Garcia-Molina berated and humiliated her and her boyfriend, Alvin Campomanes on the set of Forevermore.

She and Campomanes were bit players in the telenovela headlined by Enrique Gil and Liza Soberano.

According to Domingo, they’ve already filed a complaint to ABS-CBN in October 2014, but to this day, they are still waiting for their reply.

On Tue, Jan 5, ABS-CBN finally responded to Domingo and Campomanes with a statement it sent to PEP.ph.

Said the Kapamilya network, they thought the matter had long been settled.

“ABS-CBN acknowledged and responded immediately to Alvin Campomanes when he wrote to us in October 2014. We also sought a meeting with Mr. Campomanes and Rossellyn Domingo through MTQ Promotions and Talent Management, the agency that engaged their services for the project,” reads a portion of the statement.

Apparently, MTQ owner Mary Ann Trumata-Rejano told ABS-CBN that they’ve already settled the issue with Campomanes and Domingo and as such, the meeting will be unnecessary.

“When Ms Domingo posted an open letter on her Facebook last Dec 30, we were surprised to learn that the issue has not been resolved, contrary to what the talent agency owner told us,” the statement continued.

ABS-CBN is presently communicating with the complainants to resolve it once and for all.

The Facebook post has already been taken down.

Read the statement below:

ABS-CBN acknowledged and responded immediately to Alvin Campomanes when he wrote to us in October 2014. We also sought a meeting with Mr Campomanes and Rossellyn Domingo through MTQ Promotions and Talent Management, the agency that engaged their services for the project.

But we were later informed by MTQ Promotions and Talent Management owner Mary Ann Trumata-Rejano that there was no need for a meeting as they had met with Mr Campomanes and Ms Domingo and settled the issue.

When Ms Domingo posted an open letter on her Facebook last Dec 30, we were surprised to learn that the issue has not been resolved, contrary to what the talent agency owner told us. At present, we are in communication with Mr Campomanes and both parties have agreed to meet to resolve the matter.
