Your TV programming will be Kris Aquino-free very soon.
Julie Bonifacio of Pep reports that ABS-CBN will replace Aquino’s long-running morning show Kris TV with a program titled Magandang Buhay, to be hosted by Jolina Magdangal, Karla Estrada, and Melai Cantiveros.
Although Kris is no longer an ABS-CBN talent, the network still airs reruns of her morning show. Jolina, Karla, and Melai were contestants in the first season of the reality talent show Your Face Sounds Familiar. The three were also frequent guests of Kris’ talk show.
Meanwhile, our favorite Queen of All Media just returned to the Philippines from her three-week vacation in Hawaii.
“The 3 weeks made me start actively working on my physical health, and more importantly I had the time to be a 100% focused Mom,” she said in an Instagram post.
Kris added: “And this is just the beginning of a lifelong commitment of prioritizing my wellness because I still need to make many more memories w/ my 2 sons.”
Of course, this doesn’t mean we’ve completely gotten rid of Kris. The 45-year-old said she will shoot commercials for two endorsements. But hey, we’ll take what we’re given.
