The latest dude to earn the “blogger” title is none other than super gorge Brapanese model Hideo Muraoka.
Stylehm.com—bookmark the url!—is actually his second foray into blogging. He first tried his hand on blogspot but it quickly turned inactive. “But I was getting a lot of viewers from around the world,” Hideo replies over email. So he saw what a great “tool” the Triple W was, and two months ago, decided to make a more professional blog with better format.
As soon as you hit enter Stylehm, the first thing you’ll see is, oo nga naman, his super handsome face, that’s homepage-material.
This instantly makes you want to develop a morning habit—you know, just to start your day on a good note.
Apart from seeing his beautiful model face, you get glimpses of Hideo’s personality. He’s a goofball who likes to do 180 vertical jumps every few posts. He writes about things he loves (Nokia, motorcycles), how he keeps fit, and reveals quite a positivity! It’s just two months old, but already, we’ve learned a great deal about this model from the 12 posts he’s written. Below are 8 of our faves:
1. He likes his quotations.
The photo below is accompanied by a quotation from his kababayan Paulo Coelho: “Everybody has a creative potential and from the moment you can express this creative potential, you can start changing the world.” He uses them as caption for his fashion eds.
2. He can model and style.
Check out the credits for the “Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication” fashion post. “I’ve been in the industry for eight years in 20 countries, so I have ideas about photography, styling, marketing. I’m using everything that I’ve learned in the blog today,” Hideo says.
3. He can model and style and art direct.
Ooh, look at the credits for this “Fashions fade, style is eternal” fashion post. Hideo admits that until two years ago, he didn’t know what the word “blog” means. But ever the self-made man, Hideo educated himself by watching YouTube video tutorials. He did, does everything, on Stylehm. “Everything in my website is created by me. It’s still very new but I designed the website on my own,” he says proudly, explaining the different-sized photographs, or formats and fonts. He tells us that the only thing not by him is the template. He had to buy that. “I thought it was going to be simple,” Hideo narrates, thinking it was just drag-and-drop style. “But I found out later, it was much more complicated. It’s good there are a lot of information to help you with.”
4. During his younger days, he can down two of these sandwiches.

5. He loves motorcycles.
He shares this fact on his first post, “I love my work.” He even devotes an entire post to motorcross.
6. He has one of those monopods great for selfies.
7. Guy is a dreamer.
On the “Dream it. Be it” post, he proudly shares that he’s not only reached but has gone over and beyond some of his personal dreams. “What caught my attention was the Men’s Health Singapore cover and wondered how awesome it would be if one day I would be able to make the cover also,” he writes on the blog post. “I have been blessed to to be on the cover of Men’s Health four more times since my first,” he continues. Galing naman, Hideo.
8. And he’s a sweetheart of a papa.
