Hot tip: Best seats at Newport Performing Arts Theater to watch ‘Priscilla’

Few things are more annoying than a head blocking your view while watching something unfold on stage, so we’re gladly sharing this hot tip with you: The best seats at the Newport Performing Arts Theater are on Row E.

“I love always looking for the best seat in the house. Patron row E in the middle would be the best but any seat in this row will be good! Lots of leg room and no one in front of you, the center of the stage with a great view of the performance,” shares Rica de Jesus on her blog Heart 2 Heart.

The night she watched the Philippine production of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert: The Musical, she was seated in Row F, and right in front of her, in the precious Row E column, was show director Jaime del Mundo himself. We need no better proof.

Priscilla stars Leo Valdez, Jon Santos, Red Concepcion and Bituin Escalante. It is the funny story of four drag artists as they drive their battered old bus through the outbacks of Australia to get away from it all.

Priscilla, Queen of the Desert: The Musical runs until July 2014 at Newport Performing Arts Theater. PHP1,200-PHP3,700 via Ticketworld.
