Kettle, a Southern-style restaurant that makes comfort food commonly found in the United States’ southern region, announced today that it is giving away PHP10,000 (US$192.003) worth of Buttermilk Fried Chicken (BFC) coupons, which customers can redeem at its two Metro Manila stores from March 24 to May 1.

The giveaway is being done as a raffle. Anyone interested in participating has to like KettlePH’s Facebook page, tag three friends in the comments section, and then share the announcement post on their own page in order to enter.

Only one winner will be picked for the PHP10,000 (US$192.003) BFC coupons — but the three friends that he/she tagged will also get to share in the winnings, with PHP2,500 (US$48.02) worth of BFC coupons each.

Regine Generoso, Kettle’s marketing manager, told Coconuts Manila that the restaurant will announce a winner before March 24: “We have a date planned for [the] winner announcement already, but for thrill and fun we will not share [when that will be].”

Generoso said that the promo is being launched in conjunction with Kettle’s revamped store design and menu, which the restaurant updated in December: “[We] introduced new items in our menu, thus the promo.”

The new dishes are the Orange BFC with Soy Garlic Noodles, and Nori BFC with Matcha Waffle — both of which can be purchased with the coupons. “That doesn’t sound like Southern food,” you may be thinking. To which we say: Indeed, that is not Southern food, but at least you’ve got extra options … amirite?

Kettle’s BFC offerings range from PHP289 (US$5.55) to PHP869 (US$16.70).
