Filipino foodies who can’t get enough of their chicken wings fix were happy to find out that Frankie’s New York Buffalo Wings is now offering its own rewards card.
The popular home-grown restaurant posted about its rewards card on Facebook yesterday. It is priced at PHP200 (US$3.79) and is available at select branches.
The PHP200 (US$3.79) fee for the card will be converted into 200 points after the day of purchase, which customers can use on their next transaction.
Here’s how it works: When you check out and present the rewards card, 5 percent of your total bill will be converted into redeemable points within two days. One point is PHP1 (less than US$1). The card lasts for a lifetime and doesn’t expire.
The card can be purchased, and accumulated points redeemed, at select restaurant branches: City Golf Plaza and Kapitolyo in Pasig City; Crossroads BGC in Taguig City; SM North EDSA, and UP Town Center in Quezon City. But, apparently, cardholders can still earn points at all of Frankie’s branches.
The Facebook post had over 2,600 likes, 2,200 comments, and 950 shares as of this article’s posting. Netizens tagged friends and urged one another to get a card.
Beatrice Guevara tagged her friends and said in all caps: “WE NEED TO GET ONE EACH”
Cayley McCallum tagged her friend and said: “My dream would be THIS AND A [samgyupsal] REWARDS CARD.”
