More than 8,000 bartenders from over 900 TGI Fridays restaurants in 60 countries around the world participated in the annual event that was held in Texas, USA.
Stavros Loumis of Cyprus won, while Russell Ward of Sheffield, U.K. was named TGI Friday’s fan favorite.
The ten shortlisted finalists were asked to show off their flair bartending as well as capacity to engage and amuse the packed crowd at the House of Blues. They entertained the audience with their smooth moves while mixing innovative drinks.
In 2006, the Philippines bagged the top spot care of Eric “El Terrible” Martinez.
