A tandem of Michellin starred chefs to host dinner at the Tasting Room

Our country’s growing interest in good food prove that our humble archipelago is now stepping up in the culinary game. 

How would you like to eat a meal prepared by two 2-star Michellin chefs? 

On April 8, decorated Michellin star Chef Willaim Mahi of the Tasting Room will collaborate with chef Jung Yek Sim in “Four Hands Dinner: Aboard the Flavor Galleon.”

Chef Jung Sik Yim made waves in the culinary industry when he added his own modern twist to familiar Korean dishes. Jungsik, his restaurant in New York has two Michellin stars. Jungsik in Seoul was ranked number 10 in San Pellegrino’s Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2016.

Chef William, the Chef de Cuisine of The Tasting Room, is known for his use of traditional French cooking techniques. His noteworthy dishes at the 52 Degree Egg and the French lamb saddle.
