October is the best excuse to drink good beer and eat (somewhat sinful) good food.

We’re already in the middle of the month, but Oktoberfest celebrations are still on full throttle.

1. Oktoberfest at Chaos Manila

Oct 7 to 16. Chaos Night Club adds a modern-day twist to the traditional German celebration. There will be free-flowing beer from eight countries, a Bavarian buffet and live entertainment from top local bands. 2. Oktoberfest at Draft 

Oct 15, 22, and 29. Draft is celebrating Oktoberfest thrice: on the last three Saturdays of the month at Draft gastropubs in Greenbelt, Alabang and Fort Strip. Aside from the usual German beer and food, Draft promises games that spell F-U-N. Expect arm wrestling, beer drinking and other contests, where the winners can bring home pints of Paulaner’s Oktoberfestbier. Draft Greenbelt, G/F Unit GB2-06 Greenbelt, Ayala Center, Makati.  3. Prost at Hyatt City of Dreams 

Oct 27 to 30.  This year’s celebration will have free-flowing beer from Weihenstephan, the oldest brewery in the world. There will also be an interesting spread of food from Hyatt City of Dream’s German executive chef Michael Luedtke. What to expect aside from the usual sausages?
