Film and food always go together but if you’re looking to munch on something more than popcorn, candy, and the occasional sandwich, you might want to visit this new food park in Quezon City.
The team behind The Yard at Xavierville and The Yard Underground Pasig bring you The Yard StreetFood Cinema in Timog Ave., which had its soft opening last Friday.
The new concept brings together innovative food usually found in food parks and the outdoor movie experience. Instead of parking your car and watching from inside, a screen was set up so you can watch the films as you eat in tables spread around the area.
According to Hazel Fariñas, one of The Yard SteetFood Cinema’s owners, the movie lineup will be shared on Facebook and posted on the marquee in front of the park.
Since the place is still on soft opening, it has not started showing movies yet but Fariñas assured that by their official opening this weekend (either Friday or Saturday), the cinema will be up and running.
