MAXI Mango fans, heads up! The Davao-based business known for its spin on the Filipino classic mango float dessert announced yesterday that it will be opening branches all over Manila.

We initially announced in our MAXI Mango review that they will be opening branches at the Mall of Asia in Pasay and Robinsons Galleria in Pasig, but in a Facebook post shared yesterday, they added a few more locations and other details customers can check out.

MAXI Mango said it’ll be opening stores at:

  • The 1st floor on North Wing of the Mall of Asia
  • Robinsons Galleria’s Food Court
  • On the 2nd Floor of U.P. Town Center in Quezon City
  • On the ground floor of SM Cagayan de Oro

The store is famous for their version of the Filipino refrigerator cake which comes with graham crackers, condensed milk, mangoes, and soft serve ice cream.

The brand began in 2017, and has been gaining a huge amount of social media buzz in Metro Manila since it brought its first pop-up stall in Glorietta mall in Makati City in August.

Ever since word got out, people have been lining up like crazy to get a taste of their affordable desserts topped with fresh mangoes harvested all the way from Davao.

And that includes us. We lined up for almost 4 HOURS at a pop-up at the Gateway Mall in Araneta Cubao in Quezon City to see what the hype was all about. Verdict? Coconauts can check it out here. Those who will brave the long queues might need a trusty power bank too.
