Craving chicken inasal but worried about dining in? JT’s Manukan has made it easier to fix you with their beloved grilled chicken skewers through their newest food trailer at the Araneta City Expo in Cubao, Quezon City.

JT’s Manukan has joined the fray of restaurants-on-wheels concepts by opening its own outdoor food truck where you can enjoy a much more straightforward menu consisting of their grilled items: there’s the famous inasal, plus other items like grilled liempo, sate babi, and pork barbecue.

Aila Torre, JT’s Manukan’s creative director, told Coconuts that the decision to launch a food trailer was prompted by the pandemic, as a result of a rise in delivery demand and changing dine-in guidelines.

“Araneta City is also known as the “city of firsts”, so we felt it was also right to have the first-ever trailer located there,” Torre explained.

Customers can drop by the trailer every day from 11 am to 11 pm.

Torre added that the food trailer in Araneta City is the first of two trailers opening this year, with the next trailer launching in Marikina.
