Jordy Navarra and Alvin Leung’s collab dinner set for April 25

Got a tip? Send it to us at manila@coconuts.co.

Last week, Coconuts Manila reported on three celebrity chef collaborations that will be happening in line with the upcoming Madrid Fusion Manila event. It may be the one and only chance you’ll get to see the tandem chefs work together. Ever. So it’s an opportunity you shouldn’t pass.

Today, we received more details about one particular collaboration. Book April 25 to catch our very own Jordy Navarra of Black Sheep and Hong Kong’s Alvin Leung of Bo Innovations serve one spectacular dinner. It will be at Black Sheep in W Fifth at BGC.

Trivia: Jordy Navarra and Alvin Leung is not a newly formed tandem. Jordy once worked in the kitchen of Alvin’s Michelin star restaurant, Bo Innovation in Hong Kong, where he learned a lot of tricks and techniques from the Devil Chef. Alvin’s modern approach to Asian cuisine supplemented Jordy’s French bistro background which he got while working in Fat Duck in the UK.

Given their history, this dinner sounds like one that will impress, intrigue and inspire diners. Jordy has grown and matured as a chef immensely so to see him play with food side-by-side his previous mentor would be a such a special treat.
