How would you like this 10-inch pan de sal ham sandwich?

It’s a good week for sandwiches, food lovers!

After Pepi Cubano opened shop in Legazpi Village yesterday comes this: A 10-inch pan de sal ham sandwich from The Plaza.

Allow us to spell that one out: Ten-inch pan del sal ham sandwich — or a ham sub, as they like to call it.

The Plaza, of course, makes one of the best hams in Metro Manila. It’s practically a heritage brand, started by the founder of Aristocrat.

So can you imagine how good this is: 150 grams of that ham lying in between 10 inches of bread, smothered with a two-sauce combo of your choice?

This sandwich (PHP350) is good for two so you and your mate can each have a say on your sauce combo. If the ham sub is anything like The Plaza’s regular ham sandwich, choices for sauce include premium glaze, wasabi mayo, sweet mustard or gutsy garlic.

There are five The Plaza locations in Metro Manila, including the one at the Petron gas station on EDSA corner Dasma. We say go have one today!
