Imagine this: it’s the middle of the night, you’re out on the road stuck in traffic, and all you want is crispy Chickenjoy when you get home.
Well, now it’s possible. Filipino fast-food giant Jollibee announced yesterday that it has partnered up with Globe Telecom to provide a toll-free hotline for hungry its hungry subscribers, which means you can now order on the go.
Through the partnership, Globe users can call the Jollibee deliver service by dialing #87000. Before this, the Jollibee delivery hotline was only free using landline phones or through its website.
The Philippines is the fastest growing smartphone market in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations and this new service is especially helpful for people who opt out of landline phones or those who are out but don’t want to use up their cellular data.
Apart from Jollibee, other fast-food establishments owned by the Jollibee Foods Corporation like Burger King (#22222), Greenwich (#55555), Mang Inasal (#71111), and Chowking (#98888) will offer a similar service.
This, of course, is welcome news to many Filipinos.
Twitter user @stfurie tried it out right away and noted that yes, it works!
