R. Lapid’s Chicharon and Barbecue — which (as its name indicates) is known for its chicharon or pork crackling — is now selling a giant version of its product.
It’s so big that a three-day lead time is required before you order it. According to the announcement posted on R. Lapid’s Facebook page, customers only have to call 443-30-83 to 84 to place their orders and then they can pick up their giant chicharon from the nearest R. Lapid’s outlet.
The price per gram of the chicharon depends on the variant. It can be up to seven feet tall!
That said, the giant chicharon may cost up to PHP700 or as based on its final weight.
