After Sunnies and Harlan + Holden, Bench is the newest Filipino brand to open its own cafe. And we’re here for it.
Bench Cafe in Bonifacio High Street will open tomorrow and based on photos we’ve seen online, it looks like it’s going to be all about contemporary Filipino cuisine.
“Through food, we tell stories of our past, present, and future by making local traditions accessible to more Filipinos and Filipinos at heart,” Bench said in a statement.
At the helm is Executive Chef Carlo Miguel, who is responsible for Draft Gastropub’s menu of comfort food favorites among other restaurants. If you’re into Filipino flavors, you can look forward to Bench Cafe’s menu items like Binagoongan Caesar and Filipino “bento boxes” that come with soup, vegetables, rice, and your choice of ulam (entree) like fried tilapia and bistek (beef steak).

Bench is Filipino casual clothing brand now present in parts of the United States and China. It holds a grand bi-annual fashion show, often described as the local version of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
It counts many of the biggest local celebrities as its endorsers, as well as international celebrities like Nicole Scherzinger, Bruno Mars, Lee Min Ho, Adam Levine, and Liam Hemsworth.
The company that owns Bench also owns franchises of international brands like American Eagle Outfitters, Aldo, and Jo Malone. It also manages international restaurant chains like the Paul boulangerie and Pablo Cheese Tart.
Here are some more photos people have shared online from its private opening. Get ready to drool over the food and instaworthy interiors.
The Bench Cafe is located inside the Bench flagship store in Bonifacio High Street, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.
