Actor Marvin Agustin is on a roll! He just keeps on opening new restaurants – don’t get us wrong; we’re not complaining. We don’t even care if his showbiz career suffers because we really love the food establishments he’s been opening.
His latest is called Gambino, which is actually his second Italian restaurant (the first one is Marciano’s). Located at the ground level of Forbestown Burgos Circle in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, Gambino offers not just pizza and pasta, they have wines, too.
Asked to differentiate the two, he said that Gambino is “more on the authentic side” and that the menu is more playful – “traditional with a modern twist.”
So what do they offer? They have appetizers, salad, soup, pasta, risotto, main course, pizza and dessert.
Marvin recommends their ravioli, their Osso Bucco Ravioli; plus their dry aged rib eye.
Don’t think that Marvin is stopping any time soon, however. He and his partners are already working on some other restaurants, such as Balboa (similar to Marciano’s) and Akira (a teppanyaki restaurant which will feature performing chefs), according to ABS-CBN News.
