We just made a discovery on Twitter: Chef Ramon Antonio, who likes posting about food, among other things. To be specific, he likes posting nicely styled and photographed food that he himself concocted.
To start this hopefully never-ending series, we are posting a snapshot of his bibingka, which apart from the usual itlog na maalat topping also has an unexpected but very welcome sauce – one made of latik caramel. We haven’t tasted anything like that before but basing on the photo alone, we can already (well, kind of) taste it already. We bet we’ll never settle for anything less once we get to taste this creation.
Now if only the manang outside the church sold these during simbang gabi…
