DO YOU REMEMBER — Remember this childhood/sari-sari store staple? With a semi-sophisticated and simple white wrapper featuring its name and an illustration of peanuts (in blue), not all kids liked this because it proved to be a little too tough for some. After a few chews though, one would be able to appreciate it. Chewy and with some bits of nut folded in, eating Nougat could get pretty addicting (and annoying for some because it’s so sticky it tends to stick to the teeth).
The best thing is that it’s still available in supermarkets! Remember when all you could afford was a couple of pieces? Now that you’re an adult, you can buy packs and packs of Nougat. And not share.
