Coconuts Hot Spot — Borough has a cult following and it is very easy to understand why. More than the nice interiors (they make use of a lot of wood and metal, a nice collection of mirrors on one wall, plus the “map” placemats are cool), it’s their delicious food that makes people regulars.
Borough, which is open 24 hours, is known for their comfort food.
Bestsellers, regulars know, include Baked Mac and Cheese, BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich, and Banana Amaretto French Toast.
Also very popular are the perfect pair Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup (feel free to dunk the sandwich wedges in the thick, creamy soup), and Mom’s Milk and Cookies (go dunk again).
Borough has been around for a while and like stated earlier, it already has a cult following. Despite this, don’t worry about running out of tables because the place is pretty big and since it’s open 24 hours, there’s a lot of time to drop by and hopefully miss the big crowds. Borough is also one place where the bestsellers actually taste like they’re bestsellers, so don’t think twice about ordering the dishes above in case you’re a first-timer.
