“Dean and Deluca, New York’s famed institution, will be opening its doors in Manila later this year,” reports Mia Marci on Pepper.ph.
Its set to open in August at Rockwell Edades. Two more locations in Bonifacio Global City are already being planned.
The speciality store has long been popular among Fil-Ams and balikbayans but truly gained recognition among the younger ones thanks to D&D’s cameos in “Felicity,” “Gossip Girl” and “Hannibal.”
With such brands coming to Manila—not to mention the slew of retail brands being shipped in, concerts happening more and more now—isn’t it a great time for Manila? We think so.
