Carinderia Crawl E32: Joriz Pancit Cabagan ATBP

Go (coco)nuts! Share this story with your friends.

On this episode of Carinderia Crawl, we take you to a newly opened carinderia in Kamuning, Quezon City, that’s become the talk of the neighborhood for its pancit Cabagan. Located right outside the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish Church, it seats 14 people.

Cabagan is a municipality in Isabela and this version of the pancit is native to them. How is it different from other noodle dishes in the Philippines? This one is topped with igado and lechon de carajay (smoked lechon), and uses bulalo soup as sauce. Yum!

We are joined by Levine Lao, a Philosophy professor, who says the serving portion is good for three people for merienda but if you’re alone and feeling particularly hungry, you can can finish it on your own, too!

Pancit Catbagan ATBP, 132 Sct Fuentebella cor Sct Ybardolaza, Bgy Sacred Heart, Kamuning, Quezon City (beside Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish Church). Sun 6am-8pm, Mon & Wed-Sat 10am-7:30pm.
