The Manila nightlife scene is getting a visit from one of its national neighbors this month, when Singapore’s swanky MO Bar takes over three of the metro’s trendy establishments.
From June 17 to 19, MO Bar’s bartender Michele Mariotti will be taking over the reins in bars in Makati and BGC. This includes The Curator Coffee & Cocktails, Yes Please, and Agimat Foraging Bar and Kitchen.
The Curator is part cafe-part bar and serves third wave coffee during the day and craft cocktails at night. It consistently ranks as one of the best bars in Asia and landed on the 37th spot out of 50 this year.
The MO Bar takeover at The Curator is scheduled for June 17, Monday from 8pm – 12mn. There, Mariotti will serve MO Bar’s signature cocktails.

MO Bar is located inside the Mandarin Oriental hotel in Singapore. It opened in September with a menu inspired by flavors and places in Southeast Asia. It has 14 cocktails including Twilight by the Bay, composed of fermented mangosteen and cinnamon rum, and the Boracay Bling — named after the popular Philippine beach — that’s made with peppermint gin julep.
