7-Eleven teams up with chef Claude Tayag

So, will we, in fact, be buying longganisa from a convenience store soon?

“Convenience store chain 7-Eleven has partnered with chef-artist Claude Tayag of the famous Bale Dutung restaurant in Pampanga in an effort to serve quality Filipino food for people who are always on the go,” reports ABS-CBNnews.com.

The “marriage” of the convenience store and the chef have spawned the ambitiously named “Chef Creations” rice meals, such as Pulled Pork with Adobo Dip, Pork Sinigang sa Kamias, and Pakbet with Bagnet. They’ll be sold in 7-Eleven stores starting May 7.

We’re dying to find out what they’ll taste like.
