Manila Review Issue No.2 Launch + Turning Tables Vol. II: Bands Gone DJs for 1 Night at Today x Future

Manila Review will be launching its second issue at Today x Future Friday night. To ensure a free-flowing exchange of ideas, a 100-peso glass of white wine will get you a complimentary copy of Issue No.2.

The launch coincides with Turning Tables, featuring DJ sets by Grand Pricks (Owel Alvero of Ang Bandang Shirley), DJ Siomai (Pat Sarabia of Wilderness), JULIPIE (Julius Valledor of BEE EYES), and Russ Davis (of Slow Hello).

Today x Future is on General Malvar Avenue in Cubao, Quezon City. It’s in between Tropical Hut and Gateway Mall. Event starts at 9:00 p.m.

Satchmi Vinyl Day at Bonifacio High Street

Satchmi will have a pop-up store selling records and merchandise at discounts of at least 30 percent. Satchmi promises prizes and freebies, too.

Irie Sunday at B-Side, the Collective

It’s pretty hard to find stuff to do on Sundays that doesn’t involve Church or family. Irie Sunday has you covered, though. Coffeebreak Island will be headlining Ska Jamboree at B-Side on Sunday along with Irie Sunday’s resident selectors.  Jesus might mind but Jah won’t.
