While the entire metro is rushing from one business to another, complaining about getting stuck in butt-numbing traffic or arguing with trolls online, we could sure benefit from an act of kindness on the road.
While Kervin Marilag was riding his motorcycle along a busy street in Pasig City on Fri, Sep 30, he spotted an elderly couple clutching each other tightly as they stood on the road’s center island.
Without hesitating, Kervin made a U-turn at the next slot and drove towards the couple to do the unimaginable: He stopped the oncoming traffic and helped the couple cross the road.
Slowly the couple walked — still hand in hand — as they smiled at Kervin, thanking him for his selflessness.
