No beauty pageant — whether it’s for biological females or women born in a man’s body — is complete without fabulous costumes. Proof: Most beau-cons start off with the National Costume Parade, where contestants try to outshine one another with their, well, national costume. And we’re not just talking about regular national costumes. When it comes to beauty pageants, the more bongga, the better!
“Eat Bulaga!’”s Super Sireyna, a beauty contest for the so-called third sex, is no different. Every day, the competition starts with the beauties greeting viewers in applause-inducing costumes. It gets more interesting, the gowns getting bigger and grander, during the weekly finals.
The competition may have started just a couple of months ago but there’s no scarcity of awesome costumes. Here are some of our favorites, grouped according to, well, the same feather. After all, according to one of the contestants, birds of the same feather make a feather duster.
