Cycle 3 of Asia’s Next Top Model has just started and the Philippines has three representatives.
First is 17-year old Amanda Chan, who first auditioned for Australia’s Next Top Model but didn’t make it. She is off to a good start. In the premiere last March 25, 2015, judges Alex Perry, Joey Mead King, and host Georgina Wilson praised her for her photo, which was named best for the week.
There is also 26-year old Franchesca Lagua, who is already a professional model in the Philippines, having done work in the country in the last five years.
And then there is Monika Sta. Maria, the 23-year old winner of Century Tuna Superbods back in 2013. She actually auditioned for the previous cycle but failed to make it.
Pinays did good in the previous cycles. Stephanie Retuya was first runner-up in Cycle 1, while Jodilly Pendre and Katarina Rodriguez were runners-up in Cycle 2.
Let’s see if one of our three bets will end up as the winner of the modelling competition this cycle.
