If you’re driving a Perodua and your car was affected by the crazy flash floods last week, there’s good news for you!
Local carmaker Perodua has offered their customers who were affected by the flash floods roadside assistance as well as discounts on the replacements of various parts.
According to a press statement, the assistance provided to Perodua car owners include free towing services and free vehicle inspections to determine the extent of damage caused by the flood.
Upon inspection, vehicle owners are entitled to a 20% discount to replace the damaged parts, which include all electronic items, vehicle seats, door trims and engine overhaul gaskets.
Perodua president and chief executive officer Datuk Dr Aminar Rashid Salleh said in the press statement that customers can also claim a maximum of RM100 for towing services to bring their cars to the nearest Perodua service outlets.
“These are value added services provided to help relieve some of the burden our customers have suffered in this disaster,” said Dr Aminar.
