Being the Prime Minister of a country means you have millions of people wishing you well on your birthday, and we’re sure our on PM Najib Razak is no different.
As the premier turned 62 today, he’s been showered with messages of good fortune and luck on his endeavours (while others might wish him more luck than good fortune, given his current controversies with sovereign development fund 1Malaysia Development Berhad).
And then there are his office aides, who chipped in to get the PM not one, but two birthday cakes today. And we have to say … does Putrajaya not have any particularly good bakeries?
Because these cakes are looking pretty damn average for a PM’s birthday bash:
Najib’s caption for the photo was: “I was surprised with cakes in the office today. Thank you for the birthday wishes.” (He posted the exact same thing on his Twitter account.)
Yeah, we’d be kinda surprised too. And note the complete lack of exclamation marks and crysmile emojis.
Underwhelmed Prime Minister is underwhelmed, you guys. Do better next year.
