Last night, a man in Taman Sinaran near Balakong shot two arrows into a dog that was standing outside his front gate and would not leave.
Allan Chong, a Taman Sinaran resident who was at the scene, told The Star Online that the incident happened between 8.30pm and 9pm. He was coming home from an outing when he saw one of his neighbours holding a reflex bow and the dog, already with two arrows lodged in its leg and back.
“I saw the man holding the bow and arrows and approaching the dog to shoot it again,” alleged Chong.
He said the managed to move the dog away from the man’s gate before calling the police.
The police advised him to lodge a report and tender the evidence to facilitate investigations.
Chong added he had not seen the dog in the area before and believed it was a lost dog trying to find its way home.
