A 49-year-old woman from Batu Berendam in Malacca required stitches to close a wound inflicted by a household cat. Ouch!
According to The Star Online, Jamilah Md Jan, a self-confessed cat lover, was reportedly mauled by the cat at her flat unit on Tuesday.
Jamilah told the news portal that she saw the cat, which reportedly belongs to a neighbour, inside her home at around 7am and tried to shooed it away.
That was when the cat went into beast mode and attacked her.
“The cat was behaving like a tiger, it really scared the daylights out of me.

“I was horrified with the ferocious attack that left me bleeding,” she was quoted by the news portal as saying.
After the attack, Jamilah went to the Malacca Hospital for treatment where she received stitches to close the wound on her right leg.
“I also lodged a police report on the same day as really terrified by the whole episode,” she was further quoted as saying.
