A woman was reportedly raped by three masked men and her brother slashed in a violent robbery in Petaling Jaya last week.
Around 8am — just as the siblings were about to leave their semi-detached home at Jalan Gasing after breakfast — three men in a Perodua Myvi puled up outside the house and barged in with machetes.
According to The Star Online, one of them slashed the brother on the arm while another dragged the woman into a room and allegedly raped her.
Selangor CID chief Deputy Comm Datuk Mohd Adnan Abdullah was quoted in the report as saying that police are hunting the suspects.
“We believe two other men remained in the car while the others went into the house. We have secured CCTV footage from a neighbour to help us in investigating the case as robbery and rape,” he told the portal.
