Someone should have probably told her this wasn’t the best idea ever: a woman, fearful that her soon-to-be husband would get upset to find out she wasn’t a virgin, asked a bomoh to magically reinstall her hymen … and eventually became a victim of his sexual assault.
The deal between the 22-year old victim and the 53-year old bomoh from Semenyih was that in return for the bomoh restoring the woman’s virginity, she would have to repay him in either three ways: send him 10 explicit videos of herself, let the bomoh “touch her body”, or let the bomoh have sex with her.
At first, the victim chose to send her “hymen reinstallation technician” the 10 videos, possibly of her missing hymen.
“She sent the bomoh three explicit videos of herself. However, she got tired of sending him the videos and settled for the second option,” said Kajang OCPD Assistant Commissioner Abdul Rashid Abdul Wahab, as quoted by The Star Online‘s Nicholas Cheng.
To hold up that end of the deal, police report the woman met her bomoh at about 7.20pm on April 16, at a shack near Broga Hill.
Thinking that the bomoh only wanted to fondle her for a bit, the woman was instead sexuall assaulted and allegedly raped.
He was arrested by the police on the same day.
Cursiously, the victim had already lodged a police report on the bomoh right after their first consultation, on March 27.
“She claimed the bomoh had put a spell on her by holding her hand, which made her feel naughty,” ACP Abdul Rashid said.
The bomoh has been remanded until today and is being investigated for rape.
