A woman plunged to her death from the 36th floor of a condominium near KL Sentral yesterday.
The woman was identified as Chan, reportedly from Bukit Mertajam, Penang. Her body was found in a pool of blood in the ground floor of the high rise building around 5pm, The Star Online’s Nadirah H. Rodzi reports.
“A luggage bag, believed to be the victim’s, was found on the 36th floor of the condominium block,” Brickfields OCPD Asst Comm Sharul Osman Mansor was quoted as saying.
He added that the woman was not a resident at the condominium and that closed circuit television cameras showed her walking into the building at 4.30pm.
Family members told police that the 24-year-old had been working in Bayan Lepas, Penang. The case was classified as sudden death.
