A woman and two of her daughters were hurt in an accident involving nine vehicles in Johor Baru on Sunday.
According to The Star Online, the 35-year-old woman was travelling in a Perodua Myvi with her 16-year-old daughter and nine-year-old son to Taman Perling when the crash happened at the 14.5-kilometre mark of the Pasir Gudang Highway.
Johor Baru (North) Deputy OCPD Supt Beh Eng Lai told the news portal that the 11.45am incident involved a bus, five cars, a jeep, a van and a motorcyle.
“The bus rammed into the Myvi which was in front of it. The impact caused the car to crash into the other vehicles,” he was quoted as saying.
According to Supt Beh, the family escaped with minor injuries and were sent to Hospital Sultanah Aminah for treatment.
The passengers in the other vehicles, meanwhile, were reportedly unhurt.
