Oksana Voevodina, aka Rihana Oksana Petra, aka the woman who the former Agong, Sultan Muhammad V of Kelantan married shortly before abdicating his duties as the country’s monarchical head of state in January, has recently given birth to a baby boy last week, as per her Instagram account.

In two shared posts, she described first a difficult pregnancy:

“It was the most important and, at the same time, the most difficult period in my life. The last three months of pregnancy I spent in hospitals, staying in bed with droppers in my both hands. I had too many difficulties with pregnancy,” she wrote, along with a Russian translation next to a photo of herself pregnant in sleeping attire.

Later that day, another post was uploaded to her account of tiny baby feet, with another caption expressing gratitude for her son’s birth:

“Everything that I was told about the changes occurring with a woman after the birth of a baby is true. This love is special. These feelings are completely new. I am greatful (sic) to Allah and my husband for our son. Now there are three of us,” before adding that the baby was named Tengku Ismail Leon Petra bin Tengku Muhammad V Faris Petra.

Earlier this year, Muhammad V resigned from his duty as the 15th Yang di-Pertuan Agong, following his marriage to a Russian beauty queen, to much public surprise.

It was the first abdication by an Agong in Malaysia’s modern history.

Congrats to the couple and their new baby.
